When MySpace first came on the scene, it was all the rage. I reconnected with a lot of people, but the majority of my online friends, were all people I already hung out with on a regular basis. Enter Facebook. Register with your real name (even though a few people have somehow defeated the purpose of the site by registering with “aliases”. As of recent, the popularity has skyrocketed. Over the past month, I’ve reconnected with dozens of people I went to middle school and ELEMENTARY school with. Not only catching up with them, but also viewing pictures of myself and friends THAT I NEVER KNEW EXISTED. It makes the memories more of a reality, and not so much of a dream. I’ll stay a member, and keep on playing catch-up, as long as people “play” by the rules.
